This site''s design?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

This site''s design?

Can anyone tell me if the site was created with an ASP portal or site template, like DotNetNuke or ASPportal, or was is all created from scratch?

I like the layout, and would like to use something like for a project I'm working on.

Thanks for any info,
Skav

Originally the site was made by bargib using Visual InterDev 6.0
At present the site is in the process of a total recode and custom made forums are in development.

and they look really good, the new forums, while keeping the traditional TLR look that we all know and love. I was rather impressed.

Howdy Taw
I think what you were looking at is something we were thinking about using. Snitz forums.
But akataka has decided after talking to bargib, Eraser, Louva-Deus and myself that he is going to make a set of fourms from scratch using his knowledge of C sharp and asp.net. So we will have a one of a kind forums with an admin pannel that will also be one of a kind. With akataka doing most of the coding and Louva-Deus helping and me going back to school to learn what I don't know we should have one of heck of a new site and forums before to long.

I see you're feeling better and are active again, so if you would like to come back on the staff team you're more than welcome. We can always use someone with your talent.

well that's very gracious of you, colleague, I'll certainly give it some thought, although quite what i can contribute I'm sure that I don't know! We must catch up on MSN or Teamspeak sometime soon, btw.

I really liked those Snitz forums! oh well, I'm sure Atakata and Louva-Deus know what they're doing, I wouldn't know where to begin, I can't code if my life depended on it. BBC Basic was as far as I ever got.

can I have my old account back, please? the one FD says I *lost* the password for, but you shoudn't believe anyone with a beard that size...

*Shakes head* You *really* have to stop forgetting your passwords Taw. You should email them all to me, that way you will have a backup plan in case of "loss". Think of the spare set of house keys model...

Is someone picking on my beard again?? *Looks towards taw*

Hey, have sympathy for someone with a downsized beard. Or a little pitty.

Taw I'll look up your password for whatever account but can you give me the profile number for that user.

If you're wondering what the heck is he talking about go to one of the posts you made using that account and click on profile. In the address bar you will see something like this http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/forum/p ... y&id=10000
Give me the last set of numbers after where it says display&id=xxxx

I did NOT forget my password! I wrote it down on a piece of paper, so that I wouldn't need to remember, but forgot where I put the piece of paper. Anyway, it was all the Rabbit's fault. Or FD's, it depends what mood I'm in to blame either of them.

Anyhoo I just finished my new qualification on Server 2003 administration and I'm domain admin at work now, so if bp and atakata want any help, they know where I am (glorious Tawakalnistan,of course!)

grrr Server 2003, what a rip! I didn't know you had to buy a whole new set of CALs if you migrate to Server 2003, cos for Server 2000 the CAL for Terminal Server is built in to XP Pro, but not for 2003. what a swizz.

*snickers*

I told you writing down your pass word on the edge of your teatowel was a bad idea. You probably threw it in the laundry and it got washed away.

Hmmmm.

It is all based upon probability of recurrence. So I don't think you could afford the premium.

I'm sure you put it in a very safe place, so safe not even you can find it. Look behind the troll, thats where I usually hid my stuff.
