so anybody here play the dead rising demo yet? it's enjoyable to heat up a frying pan, burn zombies, and then take pictures of them stumbling around. Incredibley bloody, but hilarious

fyi - dead rising is a capcom zombies-in-the-mall-must-die game - not really my cup of tea, it looks to me like they substituted interactivity(oh neat, i can kill zombies with everything!) for originality

The thing is funny though, for example: i'm an honorary member of the who, that's right many guitars were destroyed in the playing of the demo

Why does everyone hate zombies so much? It seems it's okay crush, shoot, blow up, slice, burn and bash people just because they're (not quite) dead. So what if they shamble around and say 'brains' repeatedly.

yeh but they don't clean up after themselves after they've finished eating. it's not very nice when you're going shopping (as you would after a devastating mutating plague struck humanity down, 'cos the queues would be shorter) but in principle I've got nothing against the undead, as long as they don't make a nuisance of themselves.

why are there never any zombie animals? zombie cats or squirrels, maybe a zombie tapir or armadillo?

I'm not kidding. In the one piece of blurb I read about this game one of the developers described the zombies as "incredibly realistic". Now, either things are getting rather out of hand the other side of the pond or he just said something very stupid. I'd be tempted to go for the latter, particularly as he later described the game as "well awesome"...

i'm not really sure that you can describe zombies in any was as realitic.
Besides, they always start gnawing away at my hair even when i specificaly tell them 1/2 an inch only, dang barbers

Perhaps they are realistically influenced by physics, a la HL2.
