Goodbye life.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Well... from what i've heard, fable2 soon will be crowed king of MMORPG it will have the fast paste game play like the old one w/ a more stable graphics and contral system, plus a evenly more massive univise.

The future isn't what it used to be....

actually i did know that there were alot of former blizzard employees that developed the game. WHY do you think they left?

This is from what i said when i mentioned about the blizz dev's leaving to make GW.

Did you know the makers of GW are ex Blizz employees who left becuase they didn't like what WoW was becoming? Instead Blizz hired some ex EQ devs to make the end game content (hence WoW looks at PvE more than PvP)

I had answered that question already

As for throwing things back in your face, its called difference of opinion. Do you like FPS? I don't. I despise them. But just becuase you might doesn't mean your opinion of them is going to change mine.

I was the first to admit that WoW certainly has its flaws so in a way i agree with what you have said.

It just seems to me like you have either never played WoW or you have had a bad experience playing it and whilst i think its definately the latter, a bad experience will bring negativity for which i can understand.

As for it being "generic" i can agree. Sadly fantasy worlds of this nature will always have elves and orcs and things like that becuase no one can come up with anything different. MMO's like City Of Heroes/Villains, Matrix online, even EVE, all MMO's that deviate from the Elf, Dwarf, Orc sort of Genre just haven't been able to compete with those which have Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs. Both WoW and EQ, quite possibly the most succesful MMO's ever released to date in terms of population, followed this genreic pattern. Next year it will be Warhammers turn to take this pattern and WoW WILL die becuase of this game. Star Trek, also slated for next year will have its millions of die hard Trekkies to keep it afloat.

Whilst EQ built its legacy from word of mouth, WoW's attraction came from what Blizzard made in Warcraft, Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3, with all 3 games attracting a cult following. Warcraft 2 being one of the biggest selling games of all time. What Blizz did with Diablo also helped and up until WoW Blizzard were a highly respected games developer.

Becuase of its faults and Blizzards incompetance to address things such as Gear > Skill, server instability etc WoW will lose all but the fanatics in less than a years time, and i know come the early part of next year i will be investing in Warhammer Online. In the meantime, WoW might keep me occupied but as soon as something that catches my interest comes out, i'll be playing WoW to pass the time.
