M*A*S*H CRASH

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

M*A*S*H CRASH

I made this to discuss one of my fav old shows.....ah hell, my only fav old show M*A*S*H it was b4 most of your times but they broadcast the good o' old show none the less. 4 those of you who don't know or are just too dumb to figher out the plot, here it is

Korea 1950, a (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) unit stationed three miles from the from the front, positioned to provide quick care 4 troops. Although it sometimes flet as if the incoming woulded would never stop, the docs and nures of the 4077 were always ready with a steady hand, a smile and a laugh - healing our troop in both body and soul and offering a touch of home, and often hilarity, in a foreign land.

(if you where guessing YES! I took this right off the back cover of my dvd box set, so much 4 orginally )

thats bacily it, the plot (most of the time) will not get any deeper than that, oh and here are some of most well known charecters

yea I loved MASH as well, and while very few of their show could be called "deep" there were some that were very deep and meaningful.

Of ccource you have to love the titel of the theme song."suiside is painless"

Blessed Be to all those that still dream of the flight to the stars.

quote " You wouldn't like my Happy Place it is full of blood, carnage, and destruction" :ME

M*A*S*H rules!

I still watch this show whenever I can and I own all the seasons that have been released on DVD. They just don't make shows like this anymore!

Favorite M*A*S*H line:

Hawkeye: "Praise the Lord and pass the sauce!"

Humma Kavula!

I must agree with all of the above. M*A*S*H is truly a classic. Its on at least three hours of the day where I live, and I catch it whenever I can. Remember folks, the finale of M*A*SH was, and still is the most watched television event ever .

its a great show, and its amazing how long its been on tv without a break - the casting has a lot to do with it IMO, rather like Red Dwarf it wouldn't work without the exact casting they chose

"Is he an officer or an enlisted man?"
"Enlisted."
"Make the stitches big."

Great book, great movie, great show.

it's one of the few tv shows that actually got better as it got older and finally went out on one of the most poignant, bittersweet scenes that I ever saw in a tv comedy series. Col Potter was a great replacement for Henry, and Frank's replacement by Charles was inspired.

Even though it was about the Korea War, it was of course meant to be seen and understood as a commentary on the Vietnam conflict which was still being fought when the film and series were first produced, and overshadowed American social and political culture through the 1970s. I didn't particularly like the books though, nor the 1970 film, well not as much as the series anyway.

I also didn't quite see the appeal of Hot Lips? the nurses were prettier...
