Old Games

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

DOS based "Marble Madness" for the original Tandy 1000 (which I had up until a few years ago when it got tossed.)

I also had for the same system, "King's Quest", a fairly original and very difficult RPG, one of the first I'm sure.

I'm playing through the "Wing Commander" series currently, and I'm just about to start the final installment. Yes I know, it was released in 1997, but it's still an "old" game in my opinion!

It's not PC platform, but- an old Sega 32X game called 'Shadow Squadron'- six levels, but a fighter based storyline- you even get to choose your ship, a choice between a light but resuppliable ship, or a heavier ship that was far more durable. The enemy had it all- Carriers, battleships, destroyers, etc, and your job is to take 'em out. 3D universe, just not much to see..

The best part was the ship library- images of all the ships you see in the game including the ones in the 'cutscenes' and the stations, too. For the time, a good space sim and one I still play to this day when the mood hits. If you will, a 'short story' type of game

oh lord ther are soo many lol.
back when the commador64D first came out I had a WW2 sub game that I spent many free hours on, but I cant remember what it was called.

heres one of the early greats: Zelda, the very first one
I also remember many fun times with pong and later haveing a coligovision (sp?)
and the many fun games on that, like burgertime and cops & robbers(?).
is that old enough games for you? OR would you like for me to talk about "car war" and other paper&pen games I loved in my teens.

Blessed Be to all those that still dream of the flight to the stars.

i have to many faves,

elite (any platform, they all rock, apart from version 1 on the st with the mission bug where you die in a super nova), barbarian (psygnosis), attic attack, manic miner, monty on the run, bombjack, populous 1 and 2, chaos (on the atari st, kicked a55 over previous versions)

arcade clasics
