bionicle
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

well, my son loves Bionicle, and I can see the appeal, although personally I prefer traditional Lego. Costs a bit all this Bionicle stuff, kids love it though. the Xbox game was rip-off, the boy finished it

it just so happens I'm still rather partial to Pokémon, and I still play Pokémon games with the sprog, and I quite enjoy it too (except when he beats me and nicks all my best pokémon

personally I quite like it - and I'm 31! lol. My nephew collects these things so I've had a couple of years exposure to them. They're the "Missing Link" cross between Lego, Mechano and Transformers...in all honesty as a kid I would have absolutely loved them too.
I think some of our "older" members need to stop and remember what they were playing with at that age - and not be so quick to judge. He's 12 for heaven's sake. Of course he's gonna be disgruntled if you out-and-out slate his favourite toy without justification. Give the kid some credit for starting an ORIGINAL thread, which is something TLR has been lacking for a couple of years now.
As for pokemon...I've never played it to be honest, but I think I get the general idea. Am I right in saying that its effectively "Top Trumps: The Next Generation"?
