Belated Winter-een-mas wishes

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Belated Winter-een-mas wishes

I busy myself with work for a moment and I find that still no one's even started a thread about this year's Winter-een-mas? Come on people, where's the spirit of the season gone? Oh well.

Happy Winter-een-mas everyone, hopefully it'll be at least a semi-festive week.

I have been too busy celebrating the season by playing classics like "Baldur's Gate 2" to start a thread BF . Happy W-E-M to all! *Goes back to playing BG2*

the spirit of the season b*ggered off when the gas bill arrived; 33% increase and there's going to be more.

That low Taw? Over here, in the last few years, gas bills have more than doubled.

33% on top of the previous doubling. And it's been a colder winter than for the last few years. roll on global warming I say.

Happy/Merry WEMas. I've been celebrating by playing CS and AoE III. Would go to a LAN party today, but don't know if I'll have time.

@Esq
BG2? A man of taste, I see

The game is a true classic TET... I have played the hell out of it though, and I need something else to play. Unfortunately, the IWD series is vastly inferior which rules that out, and NWN has also been played recently. I may have to play Warcraft 3... I haven't played that in a while .

Have you tried Planescape: Torment? I always liked the story of that. Travelling through the planes was nifty too.

*Sniff* I cannot find any computer or second-hand computer shops that sell the game in question, and it does not seem to be available as abandonware. Any suggestions on how to obtain this gem online? *Nods meaningfully at email for secret correspondence*

Esq, try this source, Amazon.com game going for $10

You might have to get some one here to get it, then mail it to you.

Final - Thanks, but I do not shop online; too paranoid. You know that! I'm sure that I can find a copy; I haven't been applying myself enough I think.

Esq, if the worst comes to the worst, you can just go back to pen and paper DnD. There are tonnes of forums that offer play-by-post systems... just have a look round.
