Favorite, that's a toughie.
I play EVE a lot, but I certainly don't think it's the best game I've ever played. Thinking long and hard, it was probably Hostile Waters. I can't remember any other game with such a wonderful pick-up-and-play quality, not to mention an intelligent storyline. Startopia comes a close second, for the same reason. It was a great pity that the games were so short, and that the devs had to close up shop.
