Favorite, that's a toughie.

I play EVE a lot, but I certainly don't think it's the best game I've ever played. Thinking long and hard, it was probably Hostile Waters. I can't remember any other game with such a wonderful pick-up-and-play quality, not to mention an intelligent storyline. Startopia comes a close second, for the same reason. It was a great pity that the games were so short, and that the devs had to close up shop.

In terms of the number of hours of my life wasted I think Total Annihiliation comes out on top. Nowadays, not really bothered. The last two games I bought were Freelancer and Half-Life 2 and since then I haven't felt compelled to buy another.

And as a side note if you like SWG chewck out a podcast called "the galaxy report" its put together by two players and is very well done.

and was for a time hooked on playing need for speed underground 2 but that ended when i found my FL disc again.
