GCSE minimum pass grade English and Maths is all you need to get into the coppers. I kid you not, there was a bit of a bruhaha about it recently in the papers. Can't remember what brought it all about though?

Hey TG, welcome back. Sorry, I missed this thread *three times* for some reason. Not that it matters, as I doubt that you remember me well due to my previous habit of hiding deep in TLR's shadowy corners .

I have a friend in the police who also did a degree before joining, so it's not that weird

After 6 years of computing I didn't feel like doing it as a job (computers that is)
