Okay, its about time i actually wrote something decent, but ive been busy drinking, chasing women and playing Wipeout Pure.
There were some people who were a bit jaded after Wipeout Fusion. I wasnt one of them, but a lot were. I've got every Wipeout since well, wipeout. Fusion was just following the evolution from the third, and once in a while, you take a look back and find out what drew you into the thing in the first place
Pure plays a lot like 2097 / XL, and has similar features to the classic game, and plays very well.
The greatest strength to me is the ability to download new content through the PSP's wireless internet capabilities, already i've crammed the stock memory stick full of the download packs which contain the extra tracks, extra ships, and the likes, which isn't that hard.
But yes, Pure is probably my favourite of the release titles, followed by Ridge Racer.
