This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@Arania

Nice one! It's the 'octal-system' (translation: based on 8)

how to change from decimal into octal system
1. Divide decimal number by 8 (here: 42/8= 5)
2. Go on with remainder (2)
3. Divide remainder by 8. If the quotient = 0 use the remainder (here: 5/8=0 therefore 2)

You knew this joke ?
Why do american mathematicians have difficulties to distinguish Halloween from Christmas ?

Because 31(oct) = 25(dec)

Such a system you can build on any number. 42 can be 132 in the 5-system (no idea how you call it in English):
42= (1(5*5))+(3*5)+2= 132

This forum here does not support special text formats. The above should be read as "to the power of" like 22= 2*2= 4 in decimal system. Here: 54= 5*5*5*5; 53 = 5*5*5; 52= 5*5; 51= 5*1; 50= 5*0
