Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones

The series that most of my generation knows and loves, started with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and for a while, it was hailed as one of the best games to date. (I know the original Prince of Persia came out many many years ago, but I'm talking about the 3D stuff and not that crappy Prince of Persia 3D.) While the storybook atmosphere was shunned in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, it was still a very worthy sequel, having a much deeper and smoother combat system and the same great platforming elements. Now, the third and probably final installment in the POP series, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is out, and I couldn't be happier. The problem is: well, one, I never finished Warrior Within, and two, my friggin PS2 is busted and I can't afford another console right now. I want to finish Warrior Within, and I want to play The Two Thrones.

Anyway, as of right now, it is out of the question. So, who here has played it and what do you think? Usually when I creat a topic like this I give my own little review of the game, but seeing as how that's not happening this time, I want some opinions here.

All your oil are belong to U.S.

What is the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag? One's white, plastic and dangerous for kids to play with, the other you put your groceries in.

Lamentably, I cannot afford to purchase the game (on PC). It is supposed to be good though, especially the "speed kills". Ah, I'll see if I can scrape together enough money to pick it up by Christmas.

EDIT: Apparently, PP:TTT contains our good friend "Starforce" and, as I have vowed never to purchase any game that uses that piece of excrement for its copy protection system, it looks like there will be no TTT for Esky . Hmm, maybe I'll try that P2P thang and get the game that way, and then immediately reimage when I have finished playing it. *Ponders, and hops off shaking head in disgust at Ubisoft and then spits in their direction*

Killa, the obvious solution to your problems is to... *duh* *duh* *duh* buy the PC Version . Seriously, consoles are naff.

The solution ain't PC if the game uses SF . I just hope that they Australian version doesn't have it, only the American version. I'll have to research that.

With me, it's not simple just to get the PC version. My PC (both of them actually) are CRAP. I have a 1.0 and a 1.2, and some idiot threw away the only one that had a little bit of potential, the 1.7. Better graphics card, better processor and the damn thing could have played Quake 4.
