Superman Returns

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Superman Returns

Has anyone here seen the new Superman Returns teaser yet? I checked it out a couple of days ago. The guy they've got playing Superman looks the part, and I think he might be able to pull it off. Kevin Spacey's going to be Lex Luthor, so that should be interesting. I have high hopes for this movie. It's being directed by Brian Singer, the guy who directed the X-men movies which were awesome. So, I think this new Superman is going to be better than the last two movies.

I don't know. I liked Gene Hackman's rendition of Lex Luthor. And Ned Beatty running around calling after him.... Mr. Loooothohr? Mr. Looooothohr? They had a lot of fun acting in that movie.

I'm gutted that they're remaking the superman movies. You can't top the originals. I can't understand, apart from greed, why they would want to make another superman movie. The only saving grace for me in the new film is Kevin Spacey as Lex - I think thats very good casting indeed.

But saying that I was gutted when they decided to make Batman Begins and that turned out to be cool, so I'll hold off judgement until I see more of the new film.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the "curse."

I never like Superman, and I'm pretty sure both the movie and the new Xbox 360 game are going to suck donkey balls.

I'm always negitave. Because the way it works in the real world is: you try to find the good, you end up finding the bad, you try finding the bad, you end up finding the bad. Welcome to the real world

I don't think they are going to try and top the original two movies. There's no chance of that. But I'm willing to bet that it will be better than 3 and 4. Those ones should never have been made. Nothing can beat the original movie. Being a big fan of Superman, I'm definitely looking forward to this one. The movie that I wanted them to make though was about the Life and Death of Superman when he goes up against doomsday and dies in the process. I think that story would be really cool to tell on the big screen. It would take at least three movies to tell the whole damn thing.
