I <3 MyPSP
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I see that Shroud has crossed over to the Dark Side and has started spamming. How very sad. I just hope that he responds to this thread and clarifies exactly *what* this thread is supposed to accomplish aside from expressing his "luv" for his PSP *Rolls eyes and shakes head sadly at the spamming of such impressionable youths*
oooohh I get it now, he can get TLR on his PSP! sorry I just hadnt cottoned on to what thius was all about (sorry Shroud, o_o) Well I'm quite impressed actually. No really, I am.
does this mean I can get TLR on my GPRS phone? how do i do that then? I'm pants with phones, I can just about manage to text Arcon. I tried the manual but it's tiny and i got bored after the first paragraph.

maybe you guys should consider spending an hour knocking together some PSP, mobile, WebTV and PDA templates? They only need to be bog standard text-only docs within set dimensions to accomodate for the alternative screen-sizes. As this site is database driven anyway, a text-only feed should be relatively straight forward to sort.

Strangely enough I was only just reading about this the other day, and the fact that websites just aren't rendered by mobile phones due to differences in the coding - if it really would be that simple, it would be a good idea.
Course, I didn't read more than a cursory glance over it, so I am not exactly sure what the differences are (oh, I do know the differences in protocols - ie html, wml, and difference in data transfer speeds at present...)

well in admittance, I usually get my developers to tie in my WAP/PDA templates for me, so just how different the code has to be I'm not sure. However, the template itself is usually text only, occasionally supported by css, with a restricted width. Very very simple to create.
So I suppose it lies with the programmers amongst you to determine whether the code would screw things up a bit.

You need a wap phone for that, but i've never tried it. Essentially it shouldn't be too hard, after all - if someone can master html/css and xml, then I would imagine it will be realitively similar to master another format
Lets face it, it cannot be that much more difficult than it is to create webpages already can it? Just requires learning new stuff I suppose - but thankfully, that isn't me

The purpose of this this thread is to show that my psp is a really sucky at typing on, it's really nice but very impractical

lol. if you've got a pda-type phone you can access the web via pocket windows. But if you've got a standard wap phone, you should have connectivity supplied by your phone company - eg. I use orange, which have "orange world" - an annoying little feature which I keep accessing by mistake, costing me a fortune. By selecting Orange World on my phone it connects me and lets me choose which url i want to visit.
I could be wrong, but I think you need a pda-type phone to browse anything other than wap optimised sites though.
