Christmas presants

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I really don't have much that I want this time around.

Some computer upgrades
DVD's
AOE III

I really wanted the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the PC, but it was pushed back to next year in February.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the current listed price is $59.99 for it. It will be a long time before I get that one.

Also, I need a new coat. I've been wearing a thin hoodie during this period of 30F weather we've been having here. White Thanksgiving, is what they says.

Taw: Potless?

Chips, I remember you mentioning that a while ago, are you actually going through with it?

Central heating in my student house would be nice this Christmas!
Otherwise I feel kinda dodgy anyway, I'm living away from home, studying at uni and doing all sorts of stuff largely at my old folks' expense so I'd be happy receiving a pair of socks!

Btw, can we have a translator for Richard W. Sabartino? Whatever he just said goes beyond Wolfy or Jabez levels!

eh_steve: potless=broke, as in *haven't got a pot to p*ss in*

I also use borassic a lot, as in borassic flint=skint (borassic flint is a key ingredient in pottery making and I live in the Potteries, which also explains the first phrase, as if you live in the Potteries and haven't got a pot to p*ss in, you must be really broke...

Eventually, yes. I did some enquiries, and was informed that I would be suitable to apply... yet there was one slight problem. I have a large student debt that my current line of work was not making the slightest impact upon (and that I didn't put onto the form ) - the interest per month was more than the deductions, and I didn't have enough income to make an impact on that at all.
If I actually had 20k capital, then I would have been fine... but I have -20k instead

Plans are delayed for some years, but if I was already a resident...
(essentially the whole problem was debt, and the fact that with the career path I had, the chance of ever getting out of debt whilst renting was next to zero). As it is, I am back at uni and living with my folks. I am only slightly worse off than before, but there will be bonuses.

The drawback is that I wanted to be there when I was 25, not 32
