Joining the Military

Kind of like that old Navy Addage, "If it moves, salute it, if it doesn't, paint it." eh Taw?

Army wise, I loved KP, it got you out of the rack at 3:00am and you stayed till 8:00am, but you got to miss guard duty for the next 2 days. which means you got 4.5 hours un interupted sleep. Pure heaven

I had grey hands. oddly enough I have never painted anything grey ever since. and i used to get very confused and tried to salute with a paint brush in my hand, thus sending grey paint everywhere.

I don't like authority figures to much. I get gobby if i don't like something hence i'm usually regarded as a trouble maker. Solitary for life if i joined the army.

I'd never join the Swedish Armed Forces if I could.

But I can't. You see, I have a problem with my left ear, so I can't hear very good on that one. Plus, at the current moment I'm only 15; here in Sweden you'll be drafted when you turn 18 and don't have any issues that makes you become... non-draftable

And on the other hand, what does us Swedes have to protect ourselves from?

In Sweden, breast cancer research gets 8 millions from the gov. every year.

Can you guess what our Armed Forces gets from the gov. every year?

Fourhundred and eight billion kroner every year. That's something like 90 billion USD I think...

Society is ****ing screwed.
