Halloween

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

well why dont you make another thread and we'll have another architecture discussion. fyi I greatly admire Le Corbusier, Peter Behrens, Mies van der Rohe, anything de Stijl, El Lissitsky, Tony Garnier, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster. I'm never quite sure about I M Pei, somtimes I think he's inspired, other times I think he's having a larf. I'm also a big fan of Sir Xtofer Wren and Sir John Vanbrugh, not because of their classical detail (yuk) but of their scale and plan, in Wren;s case the plans for the reconstruction of London after the Great Fire (which were never realised except in the churches). Similarly with Baron Haussman, Il Filarete and Palladio's ideal city plans. I love classicla harmony, proprtion and rythym, i'm just not keen on the fancy fluffy details. M v d Rohe was a classicist but you didnt see him putting Corinthian columns of the Seagram Building!

oh btw Halloween went without a hitch, not a single trick-or-treater set foot in Tawakalnistan. lets see if next year we can do it again! hopefully be then trick-or-treating will be abnned (because lots of people really hate it)
