Illinois Man Applies for Planetary Status

Methinks that this article was perhaps written in satire but I think it does underline the problems facing astronomers - there is no clear definition of a planet. Especially now that Pluto has had it's status changed from planet to Kuiper debris!

This man has a damn good point!! Is Pluto a planet? Anyway, my mate has brought home a few planetoids, he even brought back two one night, I got caught in the gravity well and let's just say he is now paying my psychiatry bills!!!
