Forget the Alliance, go for the Coalition 
anyway, I found SL much more compelling then FL, it held me to breath longer, the missions in FL weren't really a challenge, as opposed to the SL missions.. I had to do three Redo's on SL for some Missions, before fianlly getting it right.
