Congratulation to our newest Admin!!!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

<sniff> I just wanted to be Grand Mullah...

my god, arcon with authority...I'm going to hide my head in the sand and pretend I don't exist.

Ah yes, congratulation and thanks are definitely the order of the day but I would like to point out that Arcon will be working on the site but the Forums are .net based and that's Bargib's area of expertise, he will be working on the new version of the Forums. Just wanted to clarify that.

Actually this is great having people with the talent of Tawakalna, Arcon, and the anonymous BigMan on the team now. We should be seeing some exciting new content and hopefully some expansion when things get sorted out.

So good ole Bargib will be back around more often also now? What do you know, its starting to look like the old days in here.

Well, there IS a way, you know.

Matt - It is indeed. Kind of scary (yet comforting) isn't it?

It does indeed seem that TLR has fallen into a bit of a time warp. Only months ago we were all contemplating the site's fate during the dark days of the great exodus. Now it seems that we're having a *thumbs through dictionary*... great anti-exodus?

Anyway congrats to Arcon. While some people disapprove of having so many mods/admins, I think its great to see more people taking the running and care of the site into their own hads. It just shows how valuable and treasured of a community we have here.

Edit- All we need now is the return of Nickless and it'll be a full house again.

The moderator to member ratio of this forum is the highest i've ever seen not that there's anything wrong with that eh

Post Mon Sep 19, 2005 11:26 pm

Yes, I'm very pleased to see many great members have returned to TLR or are considering it. I'm also very excited about the new additions to the staff. They have already shown extreme enthousiasm, heart for the site and the community and they possess incredible talents. So their presence and help in the team is more than welcome.

Grand Mullah hey Taw.... well, we might work something out at a later point

@J Dawg and Griffon_26:

Well yes, we do have many Admins/Mods on staff now, but just think about how many are actually active. Not all of them are active anymore and even the ones that are, we are in different timezones, so we won't all be online at the same time.

Reminds me of the eye of Chaos *shudders* only there could you see your teammates get turned inside out, twice, in under a second, and survive.

I must get a time machine, and go back and say that archie and Taw that they become staff. id be but in an asylum!

The thing is about Moderators and Admins, on Lancers Reactor they aren't like a lot of sites, here they are not a police force, their here to provide assistance when needed, not to beat people into the ground.

You may have noticed they are chosen for their technical expertise and willingness to help people.
Ever notice how many questions characters like Chips have answered, especially in the Editing Forums, hundreds. How about Finalday who tries to steer people in the right direction with tons of links. And now we have Taw who can answer just about any question you may have about computers.

Beside the fact that a hand full of Moderators compared to over 20,000 registered members is not a bad ratio, even though 99.9% know how to conduct themselves without having to have someone holding their finger over a mute button

@Arania; Ever conscious of the potential of spiralling tangent that such a response could trigger, you could always go even further back and find out which asylum, plant a key (and of course some cash) to assist in your escape. Then you could...
