How to improve your English pronunciation …

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

How to improve your English pronunciation …

I met today a nice English tongue-twister (is that the word ?).
Anybody knows more?

Other languages welcome – but please give information about the language and a rough translation.

Beginners:
Three witches watch three swatch watches. Which witch watch which swatch watch?

advanced English:
Three switched witches watch three Swatch watch switches. Which switched witch watch which Swatch watch switch?

top range:
Three swiss witch-*****es, which wished to be switched swiss witch-*****es, wish to watch three swiss Swatch watch switches. Which swiss witch-***** which wishes to be a switched swiss witch-*****, wishes to watch which swiss Swatch watch switch?

EDIT:
I do not believe it. TLR has an automated 'word-processor' that eliminates b*i*t*ch! Don't explain 'family-friendly' to me. It's hilarious.

Don't get me started - I can post a list of swear words that get through no problem - including the most colourful

OK, it's my fault to get off topic - we should porbably open a swear topic : who can swear the most without waking up the guard-dog (no, it is not a moderator)

Back on the language-thing: For the sake of legibility I use l33t, for the first and HOPEFULLY last time in my life

top range:
Three swiss witch-b1tches, which wished to be switched swiss witch-b1tches, wish to watch three swiss Swatch watch switches. Which swiss witch-b1tch which wishes to be a switched swiss witch-b1tch, wishes to watch which swiss Swatch watch switch?

Get the Dr. Seuss book "Fox in Socks" I read it to my two year old every week or two, and I'm getting pretty good at it.

...instead of these god-awful tongue twisters, why doesn't one try the demosthenes route and speak with pebbles in one's mouth?

Post Fri Sep 09, 2005 3:32 pm

i hope he washed the soil and dog-pooh off first.. oh he could have, after all he lived in a tub. or was that Diogenes? orator, philosopher, it's all Greek to me!

One certainly does hope he washed the stones, but you never know...perhaps dirt and fecal matter improve character!
