*Sigh* Anyone else feel like I do?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

*Sigh* Anyone else feel like I do?

I was reading the newspaper today. Again, 90% of it was filled with bad news. It really bothers me. I know that it brings me down a bit. Maybe that's why America has high crime rates. Everyone is depressed and angry.

Here's a fine example:
Today I went out and played tennis for a few hours. I felt great afterwards, played pretty well, had fun with friends, got exercise, etc. Came home, turned on the TV, and BAM economy this, war that, law here, regulations there. All I wanted to do was veg out on my couch, it ruined my so-far-so-good day. I'm honestly thinking about calling off watching/reading/listening to news. I can't stand some of the stuff they talk about, and a lot of it is simply to scare the crap out of society.

Now I'm not so stupid as to think I should ignore news. That's how ignorance is born and bad things happen when ignorance is around in abundance.

Besides, if I turned off the TV now, I couldn't catch the US Open .

100 bucks on Federer. The man's a monster.

western civilsation - it's doomed. took the wrong path years ago. 50 years (if that) thats all youve got unless you mend your ways. the planets fighting back against whats been done, the imbalance of wealth is tearing the social fabric apart and family life, the bedrock of our daily existence, has collapsed under decades of commercially exploited selfish individualism.

Canadians are hilarious. GO AIR FARCE!

Oil.

Especially with Katrina hitting the Oil-producing Gulf States. On a side note, Katrina may hit me, not full strength, but may still be a tropical depression when she gets here. The catch: I live in Ohio.

what's wrong with Canadia? apart from the herds of moose and polar bears roaming free and beavers loitering on street corners harassing pedestrians.

Q: why is Canadian bacon called Canadian bacon by Americans? it just looks like ordinary bacon to me. how is it any different apart from its from Canadia? btw you Americans have your bacon too crispy, only the rind needs to be crispy.

Canadian bacon is ham here taw

Normal Bacon to us is strips of crispy pig (Not sure what part but not the ham)

The news? Most of the stuff that goes on these days doesn't bother me. Genocide, accidents, war, it's all just more of the same and not particularly interesting to boot.
