The Eon Virtual Galaxy

Hey guys, it's me again, and I thought I'd just stop by to let you know about my newest forum RPG/Strategy game, called Eon.

It's a whole new step for me, as far as making these sort of games, because everything else I've done has been based off Freelancer. This game, however, has it's own galaxy, and while similar in ways to Freelancer, provides a fresh new game world to explore and enjoy.

Visit the site here to read the rules and check out the game. It just started today, and we want more players, so anyone who comes and joins before the end of June gets to join in on our grand opening celebration and get bonus stats and stuff.

I take it this is a text-based RPG? what sort of limitations are there on technology and such?

basicly to what you can buy and if your stats allow you to use it

I tried to make it challenging, yet open ended enough that your character can do pretty much whatever he or she wishes.

As for technology, it's about on the same level as Freelancer, and if you play, you will see a lot of connections to Freelancer in other ways too.

Yeah, Right now I just took down a gang leader who was supposed to be my friend and his 6 thugs. Then When I got done doing that, I was almost mugged and carjacked. The resulting fight left my Skycar damaged and my leg wounded.
But hey, its good.

You can even build your own battleship!
