Enter the Matrix was crap, but it was fun. There a good games and there are fun games. A good game is something that is engaging and lasts a along time, but a fun game is one that lasts a short time but it very fun to play. Basically.
Oh, and I would class Freelancer as good.

Most overlooked game of ''03 and ''04.
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Evil Genius was an absolute gem, I had sooo much fun playing the demo, and was disappointed to not be able to find the full version in my local game store.

Try out Avernum series, a great rpg.
But I think that Notrium, is a game you guys would love. Easily moddable.
