VCD''s

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

VCD''s

I have a movie file on my computer in *.asf format that I wish to put on a disk such that It will be playable in DVD players etc. However, since I lack a DVD burner, or even a dvd drive, I have no way of doing this in a conventional fashion. I've read a bit about VCD's (Thats a video CD), but I haven't been able to gather any information about how one makes them. Is there a way to create a VCD from a file, or is some special software required to do this?

I know that Nero is able to create vcd and Svcd, it also supports a feature that is able to convert movie files in to Svcd/vcd formats, but that is an expansion ( so you'll need to pay extra for it ) and i don't know if its supports the conversion of .asf files.

Yes, Nero is probably the best (and easiest) VCD software program. However there are freebies out there if you search. Blaze Media Pro makes one. Used to be VCDeasy was free not sure about that anymore. Just google it...or a great one stop site for you is www.vcd-help.com.
