Computer anger

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Computer anger

There are a lot of stories out there about what people do when they get angry at computers. What have you done when getting angry at a computer? Or what funny stories do you have about people getting angry at computers?

As for me, usually when I'm programming and the program doesnt want to work, I tell the computer how stupid he is and that he has no brains etc etc, and its also fun hitting the mouse on the sedk, though I cant do that to much at home because we're using optical mice

Lost about 4 hours game time and killed the keyboard. Had to buy a new one the next day. Can't afford that very often.

Hehehe wow i didnt think you'd do that FD.

I knew a man who got so fed up with his computer he threw it on the ground and stomped on it... he had problems

Let's see...I have cursed it with every possible swearword in English, French, and German and given it the finger on multiple occasions...I constantly hit my ancient monitor, too.

Oh yeah, and once by accident I spilt a tank of sea monkeys on the keyboard

Nothing I've got can top FD's story tho...good show man

Shouting may not "fix" the problem, but, ohhh does it make one feel better We must always set our domenace over computers and the like, or they may one day try to rule over us.

The most frustrating computer glitch ive had?
Well, theres 2:
One, on my old new computer. i was playing D2, and the computer has been known to lock up on occasion. so, i was in the third act, about to pick kalihim's brain up of the ground, and the game chooses THAT time to freeze. i had to to the spider cavern over again, TWICE (It decided to freeze again there too)

The other, is when i was fiddling with a VPN on my laptop, and i couldnt get it to abandon its old settings and connect through an ICS gateway. turns out the SP2 on the gateway was the problem.

On both occasions, i got REALLY pissed

My PS2 stopped reading DVD's so i picked it up and threw it a few times. It didn't read anything after that. I also hit my monitor a few times after losing loads of hours on Morrowind. I'm talking 8 or so hours worth of exploring. I hit the glass on the screen and completly mashed my hand. I have never done that again.

Hmmm, I think bret wins.

Worst I've ever done was jump out of my chair and bellow, "That's it! You're getting formatted!"

Edit: Hehe that reminds me of this. Warning: The images in the link contain foul language. Viewer discretion is advised.

One time I was playing Battlefield: Vietnam when it decided to freeze just as the commie's were about to eat M-16, so I yelled at it "Unfreeze or my foot will go straight through the case!". It unfroze just then, and never froze on BFV again.

I've abused this thing so much I'm amazed it still works. I had a friend who broke a keyboard playing Battlefield: 1942 (bailed out of a plane in heavy fire, kept pressing the 9 key, broke the key).

On occasions i have kicked the tower, punched the PS2,thrown the Xbox on the hardwood floor, which broke it,bitten a CD,smashed CD,purposley scartching a CD,beat the mouse to a small piece of plastic.Yep you can say it,i got an anger problem.

1.Carry comp to top window
2.Drop into pool
3.Beat with assorted hoes and shovels.
(Only do this step if you live on a far off ranch like me!)
4. Items Required. Slugs for a 12 Gauge Shotgun. 12 gauge shotgun. Comp beaten with hoes and shovels.
5. Pick up remains. Feel much better.

Me and a frind did this when were trying to play though a game without saving. But failed.

Some people here have to go to "Anger Management 101" here
ALl I do is just scream at the damn thing.

A friend of mine once wrecked his spacebar key while attending to a UT2k4 LAN. I kept fragging him and he was trying to avoid my bullets but he couldn't jump
