Indepth question, knowledge is sought.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Indepth question, knowledge is sought.

In your favorite RPG or similar game, what type of Character do you often play and why?

I often play the sorceror because they have more spells than the wizard (can cast them more often) and because I am utterly obsessed with magic users. I can swear there is nothing more satisfying than landing a Hellball on a puny goblin.

Otherwise I go for a monk/wizard multi or an arcane archer/ranger prestige because they're nice and rounded, though I'm not above munchkinning.

Two words: Dwarf Wizard. Nobody expects a dwarf to hurl fireballs at people and turn them into dust.

Except in Dungeon Siege (the demo) where my buddies and I hosted huge "DS Demo bring-as-many-freaky-characters-as-you-can-and-they'll-fight tournaments". It was awesome, my skeleton sorcerer dominated because of the soul lance complemented by fireshot. I definetly need to get the full version, the demo got kinda boring after about two months.

I used to play all kinds of magic users mostly, beginning in the early days of computer games. I changed this habit when I got absolutely hooked on Thief - this game made me realize how fascinating stealthy characters can be.

Why?

When I used to game a lot I'd always levitate towards a ranger to eventually a swashbuckler.

I liked the idea of out in the wilderness, with only my animal companions hunting and foraging. Eventually the idea of being a rascally rogue with a flair for showmanship appealed to me more. Besides, it's fun to break the law

P.S. I do not condone the breaking of any laws in real life however. Shame on you!

I play as a fast, stealthy character who is good in close range combat Reason being I can get in their face and beat them up and if they are beating me up...I can hightail it out of there

I usally use a sword wielder that can cleave through most anyhting. Cept in FFX where I use Tidus who is well rounded.

My peferance, is a Hero type, like a Knight/Paladen, one willing to fight despite the odds. Like Cloud in Final Fantasy, who sticks by friends, no matter the odds. Sword and Staff, ready for a fight.

1. I don't play RPGs.

2. If I did, it would be someone that's very fast, with slight stealth ability, that fires ludicrous powerful and long ranged projectiles with no accuracy.

Barbarian, basically a tank melee fighter. I'm not into magic, it's too fiddly. I just like grabbing a massive axe and killing stuff. Although I really prefer space sims like FL, I still like the odd bit of RPGs

Are we talking RPGs as in FF types or RPGs as in Morrowind types FF doesnt exactly let you choose the type of character you are Morrowind on the other hand...you make your own character...As for FFX, I own it...But dont play it as when i played FFVIII i kept getting to the 4th disc (30 hours of play lol) and my save would mess up...bad wounds

In the first Final Fantasy, you could chose your char, ninja, red mage and so forth, in the S. Nt version, 3, you could choose a little bit, though the main became the paladon
