Hooray for me!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Hooray for me!

Look out streets and drivers of the US, I have finally (year and a half late) gotten my drivers liscence! All that remains is to find a job to pay those nasty insurance prices...

Grats!

What car will you drive - or better, how much will the insurance cost, if you don't mind the question? Just out of interest.

I don't know what the insurance will be, But its a '91 Ford Ranger. I still need to learn to use the manual transmission though...

Dawg, I sugguest you drop the manual transmissions and go for an automatic. Yeah, I can just see my self in a year, when I finally get my lisence driving a pimped out 2006 Toyota Supra with neon lights on the underside and spinner hub caps. Yeah, only one year.

Well, with that one the insurance should be within tolerable limits. And it's better to start with a stick shift and move to auto later than vice versa - for obvious reasons.

What really surprises me is that the Ranger was available at all with manual transmission. But hey, I drove a Mustang with stick shift for a couple of years.

The q may sound silly, but alas: What the heck is a spinner hub cap, and why is it THAT expensive?

Sports cars and pickup trucks are about all thats left with manuals. I won't be getting another car for a very long time... This one is actually my parents second car, not mine, and seeing as how I don't have a job I won't be able to afford moving up for a while. All it has to do is get me to and from school.
