Wireless network connections
I've finally taken the step of upgrading to a broadband internet connection, but i'm having some issues. To connect the computer to the internet in its normal spot, it needs to have a wireless connection with the modem. I have things set up in this order: Wall cable connection to modem... Ethernet cable to Netgear WGU624 Wireless router... then a Netgear 311t Wireless adapter card in the PC. I can get them to interface, but I cannot connect to the internet, and it doesn't automatically retireve IP addresses for me. This is my first try at networking, so maybe Arania can help me with this one. I would appreciate a walkthrough on this if anyone can help. I'm running WinXP Pro with SP2 installed. Thanks!
