English essay

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

English essay

I'm doing an English essay based on this:

"It couldn't be; it couldn't possibly be..."

Basically can you complete this title with something funny (any other theme would sound absurdly naff). One word would be best.

For example:

It couldn't be; it couldn't possibly be... Elvis!
It wasn't.
It's a Mini adventure.

Any help greatly appreciated. Obviously the final piece will be a tad longer than my example. If you want a mention on it somewhere just ask.

Edit: Title it "A Very Good Englilish Paper", throw in some cash for the teacher. I dont know about your teachers but mine are easily bribed.

"It couldn't be; it couldn't possibly be..."

reminds me of rumors spreading wildly after Tsunami incident.

It couldn't be; it couldn't possibly be...true.

It couldn't be; It couldn't possibly be...

@Arania

Essentially, think of a word that fits the rest of the title and (I) write a story about it.

@parabolix

Ok, that's a little odd

@Everyone else

Thanks, now that my slightly convoluted original post was straightened out (i.e. above) can I please see some kind of additional development? I know I'm shamefully lazy but I currently lack any and all creative inspiration.

Good, parabolix, someone got what I was hinting at.

It couldnt be...It couldn't possibly be....a toe-nail

How about another way of looking at the sentence? Examplus Gratia:

It couldn't be...it couldn't possibly be...

These words flashed through his mind as his life slowly bled away on the pavement beneath him.

It couldn't be... It couldn't possibly be... Finals Week! (followed by extensive swearing)

It couldn't be... It couldn't possibly be... English Class (I hate that teacher!)

It couldn't be... It couldn't possibly be... U2

Post Sat Jan 22, 2005 3:21 am

Hmm, how about;
"It couldn't be; it couldn't possibly be an essay beginning with 'It couldn't be; it couldn't possibly be...'"?
