This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Is it me, or do people seem less avtive here these days?
I remember the days that leaving for the weekend caused you to scoll down about 60 posts (with very few spam I might add) with an avg of 3 pages filled with different discussions and it took about two hours to read and reply to them, with sensible posts. That's how I got my count btw .
Now I come over once a week or so and I have no trouble catching up at all. It seems to me that people are less active, or is that just me?

Edit: Damn spelling

Maybe the quality of the posts have just gotten better?

Yea, I miss those times. But freelancer is getting a bit old now. It happens with all games, unfortunatly.

Games depreciate in value and the amount of time wants to spend with it very quickly. Maybe we should all transfer to a new game, perhaps? Keep up with the times...

@Eskie: I get your point
Seriously though, if we're speaking of OT, it does seem to be a kinda calm period, IMO. On the other hand, I only come here from time to time, so it' quite hard for me to judge.

There's atill an enormous amount of activity here compared to be between the days of Starlancer and Freelancer. If everyone thought the chatter would have stayed at it peak like it was right after the release of both games, well that's not very realistic. TLR is like any other gaming forum and contrary to what others might think, there isn't some conspiracy involved in these numbers, it's just normal operating routine. Trick is to see who weathers the down times with the rest of us? The "cast of characters" have always been replaced by new blood, probably always will.

There were days when nary a new post would be seen here, can you imagine that? Oh yea, those were the days of yore. This site has seen both feast and famine many times in the past. The stats on the numbers of hits we've received daily over the past 4+ years just don't lie.

There was a day the Off Topic forum didn't even exist!
