Dreams?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Most recent good dream. Walking near a river. the detail of it, the currents and ripples. Followed it to a town built an the edges. People seemed so real, the place so friendly. Did not want to wake up. The towns folk invited me to stay on vacation there. Got to go back

I had a dream about the corruption of the church, battlefield 1942 style .

I saw on the screen that my aircraft carrier had been captured by the japs, and so I parachuted on it. I then carried out geurrilla warfare on the japs, sneaking through vents and killing them one by one, when I came accross fellow soldiers who had been captured (they were also people from my church) and told them to come fight with me to take the ship back but they all said "no the japanese are nice and they'll kill us if we try anything go away" and I was really pissed. Then I woke up.

I'm getting the strong sense that I have been dreaming the same thing over and over again for the past few nights...except I can't remember my dreams. It's just a feeling that occurs.

This is a recurring nightmare I have: I wake up in the middle of may...and the ground is covered in snow. That's the whole dream, beginning to end, and it scares the crap out of me every time. Go figure.

Oh yes, and the recurring dream about wandering through a thick, dense mist while galloping footsteps resound around me...

One of my weirdest dreams recently was me being picked by Ricky Ponting (Australia's cricket team captain) to play for Australia against Pakistan. I remember hitting a six and taking a wicket!

What's happening to me??!!

So Fd, You're dreaming on a machine with powerful graphics acceleration? What engine are those dreams running on?

None of my dreams ever have a consistency, well, except for the still frames. I'll get this still frame image or maybe a very short motion image, possibly a little bit of sound, but nothing distinctive. I'll ponder over it for a few days, then forget about it. Then a month or two later I'll be sitting in a classroom or somewhere and I'll see the image. It's like a screenshot of my mind was sent back in time to my dreams. It's freaky. I get odd looks when I'm asked a question about New Kingdom Pharaohs in Humanities and my response is "Whoa, that was odd. I'm sorry, what was the question?".

I also remember when I was really young, having a dream where It was late, three witches came out of a sewer, made noises and screeches, then retreated back down a sewer drain. Funny thing is, everything was in the right place, except the sewer drain.

i've had many a dream where i was in bed with one of my drinking mates (a rather fine female lol)... You know how in dreams, things aren't told you, but you know it anyway? well i knew she was my girlfriend, but nothing ever happened... ah, the imagination of a teenager lol!

on a more suitable note, I've dreamt whole days at college/work and woke up the following morning thinking it was a day later than what it actually was... strange! I'm on an apprenticeship scheme, and here's my usual schedule:

Monday - NLT Training Services, Brimington, to study NVQ Level 2
Tuesday - Chesterfield College to study C+G 2800
Wednesday - (As Monday)
Thursday - (As Monday)
Friday - Tarmac Topblock, Alfreton for work

I had a dream on a Monday night, dreaming the full day at Chesterfield College, and turned up at NLT Training Services, Brimington, on Tuesday morning, and got looked at funny as I never go on Tuesdays... It took some explaining to my boss on the Friday! hee hee...

I had a dream not too long ago where I was in the game called Runescape (for all you who don't know what that is, I will try to revive a topic sooner or later). My character looked exactly like me, and I had an ancient Japanese sword from Sri Lanka (I don't know ether.) My character was only at level 21 (about the level I'm at right now) and I fought a level 257 three headed dragon. I died and was in Heaven, thats when I woke up.

P.S. Weird dreams are a sign of being a genius.
