Happy New Years

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Happy New Years

Happy New Years TLR. It just turned 2005 in NZ a few minutes ago, I hope everyone has had a great year and will have a great year. I'm celebrating by getting drunk in front of the computer . How are you guys celebrating?

Right now it's 6:30 am in the US Eastern Standard Time (I live near New York) so I'm not quite ready for partying yet, although about to make my second trip to Starbucks. Not too exciting, watch the American Football College Bowl games then the Times Square New Year's party, then bed.

I'm Boscoe in disguise, wearing a fake mustache too....

Happy New years to you, its 11:34am - so about 12 hours to go for England. However, I have to go down to my Grandparents tomorrow, so no celebrations for me (ie - infront of computer!) as I have to be out the house by 8am tomorrow to catch the coach south. Mind you, most of my mates who live up here are back 'home', and my old mates usually work new years, or can no longer be bothered with all the hype for what is, after all, an excuse to party. I need no excuses for that (this makes me feel better than sitting doing nothing ).

I'm having a minor fever (thank God no runny nose) and am consigned to sofa and tv. No alcohol for me tonight or it may get worse, and only my parents to accompany me. I'm grateful I have cable and I'm avoiding local channels and CNN because all they show is carnage and how we should tone down the celebrations out of solidarity. This has not been a good change-of-year celebration. But don't let me bring you down. Happy New Year to all of you, and may the best of your past be the worst of your future!

Taking the quiet route and going to bed early. I haven't stayed up for new years in many years.

2004 is one year I want to forget. On Christmas day I went to see my mum in a nursing home - her dementia meant that she doesn't know me any more. My birthday was yesterday (31/12) I didn't even get a phone call from any of my family. 20 minutes after I saw the new year I switched on the computer and started playing Freelancr again - that's not painful.

I'll actually second that. '04 for me has been really crappy.

come on 2005!!! in approxamitely 10 hours here in the EST time zone..

I'm not much in a partying mood. My father's extremely ill in the hospital for about 6 weeks now, and is getting worse. Dr. is saying about 50/50 at this point. Just got back from seeing him, it's very difficult, and I'm exhausted from seeing him this way. All I can do is hope and pray that '05 brings him home, or brings him peace, whatever God's will is for him.

Going to watch a football game this afternoon (american football), take the family out for dinner, and probably crash on the couch watching the evening college football game.

All the best and peace and joy to everyone here in 2005, and I do mean everyone!
