Mpumalanga is one of South Africa's 9 provinces. Two days ago they had it on the news that there are problems with their matric(thats final year of school) exam papers. Apparently there are problems at six of the schools, this includes copying and maybe even leaking of memorandums(sp?)
Now all the answer papers were taking by the police who will open a fraud investigation. Today they announced that Mpumalanga's results will not be released next wednesday along with the rest of the country. It will only be realsed when the investigation is finished...maybe middle January.
This is bad for everyone who want to study next year...I'm not sure how all the uni's work, but I think in some final admission is based on your final school results, which in this case might not be available.
For those of you who dont know, Our school yea starts middle January and the uni's start nearer to the end of January.
Now that I think about it I should contact my cousin, he wrote his exam there.

I just hope all this gets settled soon, it can have pretty bad consequenses
