@ ff; i am truly honoured to be mistaken for taw, i must be doing something right around here.
if however i am taw then i've just been having a discussion with myself about sci-fi music in another thread. i even siad i was pleased to meet myself and complimented my choice of music.
very cunning ruse but not beyond the bounds of possibility i suppose.
@ ds; code knows me better then he's letting on. thanks for the compliment code ( yes---i'm taking that as a compliment ).
BTW: of course it was inventional.
@ everybody; it was purely meant as a tribute to human ingenuity, particularly that of my irish ancestors, and the natural beauty evident in the pics.---just open the link and look at them. it's wonderful.
i think it just looks more like a wind-up arriving right after that FD and all seeing eye ( aka taw, not aka Druid ) event.
@Eh: hopefully this explanation does not step outside the forum remit: it's a pagan ritual similar to all hallows eve (halloween) where the final harvest of the year is celebrated. it gives thanks to the beginning of the return of sun light and with it the growth of new harvests. the romans referred to it as "the birthday of the unconquered sun" (dies natalis invicti solis) indicating that the sun and moon seemed to be at war throughout the year and the solstice is the time where the unbeaten sun begins its ascendency.
--- was'nt there a trek "next generation" episode along similar lines where one of the rogue spirits, loci i think it was, enters datas programming---
there are several contentious issues which i will not go into here since the simple mention of them could lead to the same religious debate i never intended to start.
EDIT: my natural tendency to provoke a little thought led to the "antagonistic" comment. i can see how it looked like taw's work. that being said i would have loved to lead you all on but i would'nt direspect taw or the site members in such a manner. sorry if the revalation of me being a prophet and not a messiah is a let down.( pardon the metaphor
)
