anyone willing to enlighten me concerning brandy?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Lol, what an enjoyable topic this has turned out to be

@ zlo: Lithuanian Golden? Can't say I have but I'll keep a look out for it
@ Druid: Yes, although I don't drink whisky too often it is good stuff. Fire all the way down the throat and in to the belly.

Basically, most spirits and beer I like apart from some dreadful stuff called VB I always try to drink authentic stuff, that's why a was a little wary when New Zealanders starting making vodka lol

I hate going to work when I have hangoverI deeply believe that hangover should be a legal reason for not showing up to work, and fully covered as a serious condition.

@zlo,

Not kidding at all. Spanish brandies are made from jerez (sherry) They are a very nice experience of themselves. Most readily available as an exported one is known as Cardenal Mendoza. If you can get your hands on some, it is a nice change.

Ohhhhh Whiskey...

Now theres a taste, My preference at the moment goes out to a specialty they Tè bhéag. one drop of that stuff, has me literally dancing on air, its taste is so good, its smooth but sharp really, it goes down perfectly, and the aste just lingers afterwards, as a matter of fact, I have a bottle in the booze cabinet, I bought it two years ago, its only been opened once, for one glass, without ice, ahhh the memories,

I can't say I can say the same for Vodka, it has my taste though, but not as... finely developed as with Whiskey, I can't say ive experienced the same with Vodka sofar either, the Whiskey experience still hangs around in my head, even though it has been over a year and a half that I took that glass.

i did not use any photoshop on this (except to cut the surrounding page off) whatsoever...just a simple edit of the URL...its fascinating how easy it actually is to name things after they are made
i mean...all teh link is to this forum is a link to the actual forum...and the name is made depending on what the url says....fascinating

Erm... yep, I remember now However, having such nice conversation on such a worthy topic kinda prevents me from doing that. What does the public say - should it stay and die its natural death, or should it go?

well i survived my trip to dublin, or "the big smoke" as we call it.

@ zlo; like all good threads this has now evolved to become something which it's creator did not foresee. if you delete it now you will be deleting a different thread to the one you originally inteneded long live the alcho's thread

also i think working with a hangover is already against the law, technically i am breaking several safety codes by being here right now

@ locutus you might enjoy this link to te bheag

@ shadow --- just one

Exoerts' advice needed. A good frient of mine is cominng tonight. We're gonna do some drinking on the occasion of my advancing senility. This year I decided to drink Scotch. Which would be the best choice - Chivas Regal, Clan MacGregor, Grant's, or Black Velvet? These are the only ones I have - the rest of the stock somehow mysteriously evaporated . So, what do you say?

@ zlo; i tend to find a lot of scotch much heavier and liquourish than the irish whiskey i favour, so my expertise on them would be limited (strangely i started on southern comfort which is probably the most liquor styled of all, but i used to mix that with a soft drink to lighten it).

anyhooo i am not so much of an expert, rather just an alcho, so maybe my opinion aint' worth squat. i would think that if i were to let their lips soil the rim of any chivas regal filled galss, this would have to be more of an awe inspiring guru of superlative proportions, who had made promises of everlasting joy on reciept of the best scotch. otherwise i'd pour the shares in a different room and fill theirs with the other stuff

on the other hand my best friend did treat me to a couple of shots of 125 year aged jameson last new year. it was practically evapourating right up my nose as i inhaled prior to drinking. needless to say we invited him back for this year.

Thanx for advice, pal! I just learned that the guy who's coming is already kinda looped, so he wouldn't be able to fully appreciate best stuff anyway, so I guess we'll just get drunk ove MacGregor
125 year aged Jameson? OMFG, that's what I call generosity!
