I'm running a 512/128 ADSL connection, but I'm only trying it out for six months. After that I'll either switch to cable (if I have a need for speed), or switch to a cheaper and slower ADSL plan depending upon the amount of surfing and downloading I do. This is because I am currently in my testing and deterministic phase .

I have Cable and it sounds like when i move to the UK next year, we are going to have the house wired for T1 (if thats how it is done ) so i can run a server for a game or 2

I was on a fast DSL but now i am on a 14.4k dial-up
but....In about 5-7 weeks i mite have DSL here

Sorry if my spelling is not the best in the world..

ADSL, 1,1MB up, 128kB down.
Can you believe I started this account with just 128kB up. Then it got upgraded to 386kB and later to 1Mb, now it's 1.1Mb... It just keeps getting better.
And the prise hasn't changed btw

Was on DSL before college, ran at about 50.0 kb/sec or so, went to college. In the dorms I had a a T3 line with a whopping 1.5 Mb/sec, now in my apartment I have cable which gets around 100.0 kb/ sec.

Obviously I miss my dorm room
