What you have to be thankful for this year...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

What you have to be thankful for this year...

Topic is enough said. Mods please lock this if it's offensive at all. This year, I have a great deal to be thankful for (besides TLR of course), but primarily this. Next tuesday marks the one year anniversary of my diagnosis with type 1 diabetes. It has certainly meant a lot of changes in my life, and i'm very thankful to still be around here, and for what this has allowed me to see, as well as the boost of self confidence that came from my hospital stay (and alliviating my fear of needles...). I know i don't have it nearly so hard as everyone, as a substitute teacher of mine pointed out yesterday, we here are living in Disneyland, and there are tremendous others out there whom are less fortunate. I am tremendously thankful for all i have. Anyone else care to share their thoughts/experiences?

in answer to the question, The Lord, Friends here at TLR, still being able to learn things.

Post Sat Nov 20, 2004 1:52 pm

Let's see:

Learning that I may actually be good at something (Biology!)
Tons of good friends (Including y'all on TLR that I haven't talked to in a long time)
Desert Combat
OSU Dominating Michigan (five minutes ago!)
Food
Caffeine

I would add a bitterness list, but i'm too happy that OSU beat the undefeated rival Michigan by 16 pts (This is American Football, if you were wondering. Ohio residents take note)

Well, I guess I'm thankful for my health and my family (most of them anyway ), and of course, ginger beer *looks sidelong at Corsair* .
