Detention

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Detention

Woohoo! I got my first detention, I think.

Don't you hate those pissed off teachers that make you do things you wouldn't normally do?

Brief version: Needed to get somewhere quicker than going around, so I wen't through a door that is supposed to be for teachers only, however it goes into our "Senior Hall" a locker room for Seniors only. Now the library aide came out and started yelling at me saying that that isn't a student exit. I said Ok, sorry. Won't happen again and such... he said (still really pissed). " GO back through the door and take the other exit", which would cause me to be late to a place I needed to be. I started following him, turned to my locker, and said no to him. Then he went in, got my teacher and got my name.

Normally, I would have just gone around. But his attitude was just pushing me over the edge of an already tough day, so I said no, I'm already out here, I won't do it again...

Oh well. People can be complete a-holes sometimes. Stupid people, and angry-for-no-reason people, really piss me off...

Ever have these days?

Ah, i get detentions all the time, usually for being late to class after helping resolve a MAJOR network outage on the school network.
What an injustice.

God only knows how i managed to not get any, with the amount of times i've forgotten books or homework. I must be just lucky

I should have been expelled from school if they strictly followed the rules.
I skipped around nearly 50 hours of class in my last two years at school. But I did graduate by the way

I never got any detention whatsoever, the teachers always thought of me as being the nice kid. I guess they were wrong

Only detentions I've gotten are those ones where someone does something stupid, doesn't admit it, and then the whole class gets one. Got those about once or twice a week last year. Now they don't care about punishment like that, you either get nothing or expelled. This kid got expelled for making a joke ("i'm gonna pop you with my 9" but they never caught/punished the kids smoking pot at lunch, even though we (the 'good' kids, the nerds) pointed them out.

WARNING: Prosecutors will be violated

My detentions have already passed the 100-hour mark (no joke!). Fortunately, they can't expel me for not doing my homework.

I've only ever had three detentions. My teachers have just about given up with making me do homework now

The only proper detention I've ever had was in intermediate school for fighting. Other than that my record's clean.

i only have 1 teacher who ever really punishes you if you forget something (mainly book)
but all you get it a tardy to class.
my math teacher just says "ok go get it"
and my science teacher just makes us do like 6 pushups and then we take the pass.

and for band, we have warmup books, but i never even use mine. i just share the stand with my friend (who is always next to me after out tests)
i had a concert on thursday and we shared the stand lol. (mostly because one of his songs was ripped in the corner, and my part has a copied page, so we dont have to flip the page to see the back)

i have yet to get a detention.
i was close to getting one 2 years ago (let som1 look at my math paper for answers)

...I must seem a 'wild one'...

I got detentions quite often, usually for doing some schtuff I shouldn't have. Things like setting off fireworks in the gym changerooms, egging our science teacher's car, the numerous ones for fashioning weapons out of classroom materials (the best one was a crossbow made from a pen, a ruler and lots of rubber bands... that was fun), conspiricy plots, (they couldn't pin some prank on one of us, so the got our group who were close knit).

Numerous detentions, but no threats of expulsions... many suspensions for beating the crap out of kids for hurting my mates.

I would think that there would have been more horror stories... (waits for the vets to start...)

I always managed to get somebody else in trouble.

Most people quickly learned it was best to not piss me off. Of course there were a few who never quite caught on...

Several well placed kippers in the ventilation shafts - big trouble

The whole school stank for weeks, but we never did get suspended
