A word of warning to all Britons...

It recently came to my attention that on Saturday 4th December there will be a major shake-up in Nottingham, UK...

Police have heard scattered reports of either a terrorist suicide attack, or a shoot-out between two of Nottingham's infamous gangs...

The former scenario is apparently unrealistic, and the latter is more than possible...

It came to my attention through a trusted friend, and here's the story:

Whilst out as a group one night, some friends of mine saw an Asian bloke drop his wallet, and one of the girls ran after him and gave him the wallet back. The man was so grateful he offered her £10 to treat herself with. She wouldn't take it, so he simply said: "If you won't take this, then take a word of warning. Don't be in Nottingham on Saturday 4th December".

Thinking it was a joke, she ignored it, but went to the police about it anyway the following day, and told them what had been said. There she was told that the police have heard scattered tip-offs about something happening in Notts on the 4th December... The majority of tip-offs were about a shoot-out between two gangs in Notts City Centre, but a few had mentioned a bomb attack...

Also mentioned was the fact that anybody in the way would no doubt be shot...

Better to be safe than sorry, and I'm not going anywhere near Notts on Saturday 4th December...

Just thought I'd let you know, as this'll be ma last post for a long time, until things on TLR cool down...

Cheers for the heads up, I'm at Nottingham Uni. If I need to go into the city centre though, I'm not going to get worried by another terrorist warning, they go on in London all the time and it's only on a very very rare occasion that they actually take place. No point in living in fear all the time.
My guess if it amounts to anything it might be a shooting in the city centre but I doubt it would happen by day.

Urban legend 1 and urban legend 2. This has been played so many times before. It started as "don't drink Coke after [insert date here Where exactly did you hear this from? BBC? a friend of a friend? or the infallible "Internet"?

well better safe then sorry, besides i know cus pg past i would rather not talk about. word of warning; Gang fights are nasty, and bystanders tend to get hurt
