im off for a short while

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

No sooner said than done . Basically, you connect Steam via the internet and then "Exit" the program. As long as you haven't logged off, the information should still be stored on your PC and, when Windows restarts, you should be offered the option of starting Steam in the "offline" mode. Supposedly, that's all the you need to do, however I recall that there was a useful thread on the Steam forums for people who had problems with this method, and I can dig up a link for you if the above method does not work.

I have located a couple of relevant threads here and here, but not the thread I was thinking of. Unfortunately, I cannot find that other thread because the Steam admins have disabled the search function *shakes head in disgust*. If you are still having problems, let me know or feel free to email me.

Indeed. Isn't it interesting that despite Valve's hype ("You'll learn more about the 'G-Man' and the importance of Xen!" ), you actually learn very little. *Shakes head* They just want to string it out so that they can cram in a few more sequels .
