What makes you cool

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

there's also the element of the styles and brands of clothes that you ware. Over here sports names such as addidas, Nike and Umbro are the norm. Burberry is also another and is popular with people that around our age sw

burberry...hmm never seen that in SA before.
imo this attitude of "Ihave to wear clothers with brand names on" is totally stupid...why do you want to pay 100 bucks extra and that just for the name of what you are wearing....

so yea!! im right it is really stupid, imho, to try and keep up with the 'fashion'. i just wear whatever that looks suited for the occasion.

attitude. Plain and simple the way you act towards others and how you live your life. Do you stand by your own personal believes or not? (not nesiccarily religion) Do you respect others or not?

It's got nothing to do with the clothes you wear or the way you cut your hair or whatever, because that's image and these days everyone can look cool (makeover shows etc) but it's teh way you act that realy makes you cool.

This is all assuming you want to define such a person as being cool instead of just a very nice guy/girl...

burberry is what pikeys wear, stay away.

Isn't this really defined by your peers?

Nick, over here, what you wear makes you "cool" within the "gang" that you follow. Grom did an interesting topic on the gangs of the UK not to long ago. One person that wears Burberry is cool to his pikey friends, but to a Grunger, that person is nothing more than an idiot.

Although as you say, attitude comes into it as well. For instance, if said person is a pikey, its cool hang around bus stops shouting abuse at people.

i find the coolest people are the ones who have absolutely no interest in beign cool to begin with. That self ignorance, that non caring spirit of "i'll go on living and if im cool, im cool, and if im not, i couldnt care less" but then the whole notion of that theyre the cool ones is lost because they dont give a damn.
Its a paradox.

Being cool, is just being yourself.

Coolness is in the eye of the beholder. You don't need girls money a fast car, or a mansion to be cool. Just play life one step at a time and you might find that some guy thinks your cool, and some guy might think your a looser.
