what is your favourite....?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

What's your favourite smell!?!? What's next? What's your favourite ASCII symbol? *Shakes head* And some people deny that OT is going downhill!

you can be part of the solution or you can be part of the problem. i for one TRIED to create a new interesting topic but people care more about what musical instrument and smell they prefer, as if it mattered.
I;m waiting for theoretical physics topics to spring back up, debates about the meaning of life and possibly discussions over the future over the middle east after arafats death, i guess they can wait while we wonder round the house smelling things.

I appreciate the hard work you put in Arcon .

Arafat's death is a political problem. All puns intended.

What type of matches? Wooden or cardboard?

Post Fri Nov 05, 2004 9:32 pm

yeah but just beause he was a political figure, does that mean its off limits? its relevant because the issue could very well put back a middle east peace treaty years. What exactly are the rules on politics when none of the participants are from the places in question so we can stay objective? Its like we're having current affairs talks off limits permenantly because of the politics clause. Maybe if and when there's a vets lounge, the topics will be alot more relaxed.

I want to agree with you Archie. But there's also the religious component in this particular case. Co-religionists of both sides live in your country and mine as do, perphaps, nationals from those two places as well. There's no telling.

But I agree with you, this is a big moment in history.

Post Sat Nov 06, 2004 9:25 pm

thing is, the problem with discussing politics and religion is the devolution of a thread due to people preaching about their country is better than someone elses or their god is more right than whoevers.
If there was a strictly, heavily modified thread about it, as a trial run to see if we were mature enough, it would be an interesting experiment.

i agree archie.

Hey Esq, if thats what you think, then in the good old fashioned way, do something about it.

Make interesting and discussive threads, rather than bemoan the ones others create, have an active hand in trying to improve stuff. I don't mean (no offence Indy) copy and paste news items, but actual things that are interesting to yourself and you wish to discuss.

@Chips.

I think I've explained several times that the copy and pasting I do is because the site from which I got the news does not permit me to link to it.

If you don't find it interesting, fine. More power to you.

It isn't as if I have a fixation over copy and pasting you know.

Sheesh.

@Arcon:

OK. I'm game if you're game. Start a thread.
