autorun on a floppy

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Why would you want to place autorun on a floppy anyway?

Post Wed Nov 03, 2004 5:04 pm

it has to do with my local libraries computers, that have restricted access to the cd drive.

Why not just run a batch file through "My Computer"?

Post Wed Nov 03, 2004 6:53 pm

what do you mean by, "through my computer"? ive already used a bat file to gain a command prompt if thats what you mean. can you execute any executable through a command prompt?

Post Thu Nov 04, 2004 2:39 am

I mean as in access the "My Computer" icon on the desktop and run the batch file from there (I am assuming that the "Run" command has been disabled). As for executing exe files through "cmd", of course you can!

Well spin is happy, so I guess that this thread has served its purpose. May I propose a *click*?
