Magazines
For news, current events and editorializing I read Macleans (sort of a Canadian Time) and The Economist. Occasionally I'll read a Time or Newsweek if I've nothing else to do.
My science and technology sources are Popular Science and Discover. Popular science is great; it's accessible but not patronizing and isn't quite as tabliod-esque as Popular Mechanics. Discover, on the other hand, is much more "hard science" oriented; granted it isn't as dense as Scientific American or various academic journals but, for me, that's just fine.
Every so often I'll pick up an aviation magazine too. I used to have a subscription to Air & Space but I stopped renewing it a few years ago becuase it cost more than it was worth. If I'm in a bookstore I may fip through it though.
I wouldn't be posting on a forum like this if I didn't like games. I get all of my (print) PC gaming info from Computer Gaming World and PC Gamer. I rarely buy but, as with aviation mags, I'll flip through one if I see it.
