Bargib retires...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Bargib retires...

Unless you haven't checked the front page recently (you really should you know ), you should be aware that Bargib has gone into semi-retirement, and has handed the reins of power over to Eraser and Baked Potato. I would like to take this opporunity to thank Bargib for all of the fantastic work that he has done over the years, and to wish him well during his next project (if any) . Thanks for making TLR the great place that it is! *Genuflects in Bargib's direction*

Thats sorry to hear almighty bargib. I aint gonna kiss ass big time, so i'll keep it sweet. Even though i joined after the X2 'debacle', after reading about what had happened, i have seen what had been said and done, and i am glad that i chose Freelancer instead of X2, even though i bought it a month later.

Even though you're not in complete retirement, Its good to know that Eraser and Baked Potato are in charge, and would explain the space marshall ranks...

Nothing in life is eternal, all things must come to an end, and I hope that this is just a small detour away from TLR. Congrats on the primo site dude, it's always a regular on my lists.

Yes indeed, many thanks to Bargib for his time, heart, patience and endurance put into this wonderful site! BP and myself are very honored to take over the helm of TLR and we'll do our best to keep it as fun, clean and stable as possible. BP and I have a vision in regards to the future of TLR and lots of changes are at hand. We are still having discussion about the shape and form of the changes, so untill we have the vision and the idea of the implementation complete, we'll let you all know about TLR's future.

Again, thanks for everything Christian!

Thanks Bargib for giving us this place. As you are no doubt aware, your perseverance was much appreciated, even though i wasn't here when the whole X2 thing happened. You did a great job along with everyone else involved in the running of the site

great job Bargib. The site is definately #1 for lancer editing, you can be proud to be among the ones who made this possible.
i dont know where the FL modding world would be without lancers, probably nonexisting, at least not in the great and awesome way it is.

You'll be missed Christian. This is one heck of a site and you deserve all the credit that can be given for getting it started and for putting together a group of Mods and Admins who've made it such a thriving and robust community.

Do drop by in the OT upon occasion.

Thank you.

As I said in the comments, im on one side sad to see him go, but on the other side, hes got 2 children and a wife to take care of, and has only so much time to spend on a day. So I guess this is Goodbye, (not really a) Farewell and Amen.

Thanks for bringing us the site!!

Three cheers for Bargib.
