King Diamond anyone?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Neil Diamond is one of the kings of the "bad song." Owner of several that got played in Top 40s incessantly, drilling holes into people's brains and turning them into mush.

<Edit>

Corrected grammar.

'tis all good Taw Different strokes and all that. But I would argue that a poor mans MM he is not been out way before and has a much better range of vocals. MM not too bad tho. I would say if you like 80's well evil metal with a lovecraftian/horror/occult feel with theatrics of Styx's Caught in the act live. It might be good for a go. If not *shrugs* no big

I guess Styx Caught in the act would also be a concept album as well?

whatver floats your boat, jax.

"Indy" - "Neil Diamond is one of the kings of the bad song" I bet you've tapped your foot and hummed along on occasion. deny it if you dare.

Proves nothing. I can identify some annoying advertising ditties that have had the same maddening effect.

King Diamond is great for the older style of metal.

Spiders Lulliby is a great alblm...rich with great classic metal tones and a blend of massive creepiness in over all sound. Thouhg lacking the vocal talent required to be in the "Black Metal" genre, king diamond is never the less a legend in the poineering of this genre of metal music.

If you like Mercyfulfate... you would like 'My Ruin" they are good as well as Tristania and Sirenia. Also check out Cruxshadows, Orphand Land and for a great mix of dark overtones and weird vocals...Switchblade Symhpony...they are not the "Black Metal" this is about....but the singers tone with her vocals and the actual music and voice are pretty cool...the song "Clown" is a great example.

and to all of you in Europe....I ENVY YOU!!!! you bastards....you're music scene is FAR superior to ours here....the gothic metal and dark metal scene are far greater than thay are here in the states...too much of that 'Mainstream Punk Goth" crap....it makes me sick...either punk goth, fake rock or POP music...makes me f***ing sick!!!
