Of all the world were do you want to be?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

hmm...the moors in scotland. Johannesburg, south Africa. Bourdeaux, France. T.O. is pretty sweet, but there's always Italy...Ireland...India. Japan, with my cousins. Perhaps the chinese wilderness...I really don't know. Russia, maybe. Or Prague. Or Sofia. The world's a nice place.

Maine and Alaska in the states...Nova Scotia, Montreal, St. John's, the Yukon, Iqaluit, Vancouver, and the B.C. Rocky Mountains in Canada... the house that my grandparents lived in in Ottawa...

Places I do NOT want to go: The leech-infested jungles of Sri Lanka. Or the Gobi Desert. Above all, Rural Texas.

My sister lives in Seattle.

how incredibly convenient. your sister is at the opposite side of the country to you. i suppose the only way she could be further away is Alaska, Hawaii or a US overseas territory like the Virgin Islands. I wish i could arrange for my relatives to be as physically far away from me as possible

@Wilde if you want to live in SA, either go to western cape or freestate. Stay away from the big cities, esp Johannesburg, its the most dangerous city in the country

This place:

Its called "The World" and it will be built off the shore off Dubai, for incredibly rich people.

Heres the description

The same company that brought us The Palm Islands, Al Nakheel Properties (Nakheel Corp), have done it again expanding their portfolio of man-made islands with this latest Dubai island project shaped like the continents of the world. The World will consist of between 250 to 300 smaller private artifical islands divided into four categories - private homes, estate homes, dream resorts, and community islands. Each island will range from 250,000 to 900,000 square feet in size, with 50 to 100 metres of water between each island. The development is to cover an area of 9 kilometers in length and 6 kilometers in width, surrounded by an oval shaped breakwater. The only means of transportation between the islands will be by marine transport.

Construction has begun on the $US 1.8 billion project which is set to be completed by the end of 2005. It will be located 4 kilometers off the shore of Jumeirah, close to the The Palm Jumeirah, between Burj Al Arab and Port Rashid of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Each island will be sold to selected private developers and are expected to have pricing beginning at Dhs. 25 million (US$ 6.85 million).

that's not particularly amusing or pleasant, FL2003. GP's been here a lot longer than you and behaves with a dam sight more decorum. Maybe you should stop having digs at him and follow his example?

Post Sun Oct 17, 2004 9:58 am

thx taw and sw, i'm not listening to this anymore, if u wan't to insult me fine go ahead i don't care anymore

The World...OMFG.

Truth be told I wouldn't want to live anywhere that's particulalrly special as I worry that the special-ness would eventually fade. That's why Ilike Winnipeg. It lets me view the rest of the world with wide-eyed wonder.

Oh, and why can't we all just ignore 2k3's posts. Maybe, just maybe, if nobody responds to him and no one posts in his threads he'll either change or just go away. Think about it.

hmm it seems Frontier and GP dont get along well.

@frontier given your track record most people would think your talking about FL, also insulting never helps, i learn that everyday.
