according to my profile I registered on the 27th of February 2003, I joined after about two months of irregular lurking, and intentionally I didn't even wish to join, just observe, just look on what a forum was like, but then I believe I saw a thread, with such a huge error, that I just wanted to set straight, my first post ever however was something in the variety of a question about if it were possible to make a Star Wars mod of Freelancer, I have played SL, I still own the game after at first renting it, and later buying it for 5 Euro's. I haven't played it for a long while, neither have I played FL since September of 2003, I chucked it off because of shortage of space on the HDD, which on the current status is still moaning and groaning under the huge amounts of Data it has stored.

I hope this is a satisfactory answer to your answer.

Ohhh before I forget, I came here through a link at a Site called LancerHQ, a site which was run by one of our Mods, Tachyon. How did every one else came here?? (I know its an idiot question, but hey, with this its worth asking)

I've been looking at TLR since February 2003, but I avoided the Forums because I'm not a particular fan of gaming forums. However sometime at the beginning of august 2003, I searched the forum to try and find an answer to a bit of FL I was stuck with....only to come across a "noob" getting "flamed". The comments against him annoyed me so much that I registered and return flamed the idiot who was having a go (I believe the phrase "pubeless neandrathal ***ker" featured highly in that particular post). The regulars found my post amusing and adopted me. The rest is history.

Lurking cannot count......to be honest .

I was a model citizen, read the rules - and abided perfectly. I only joined when i found the perfect place for my very first post

Summer, 2001. That beats a sizable chunk of the current forum population, I think.

i learn modding 50% from the tuts here and 50% from experimenting, combining, pondering and testing.
1st doc i read was that borg sphere tut - pretty the only shipbuilding tut back then... times have changed. if i had the tuts back then that we have now... who knows

My first post was about you wanted to see in a SL sequel. I first posted here under my first name (Vincent) but soon I created a new account because my rank here was newbie instead of Squadron Commander which I was in Starlancer! To bad I can't find that particular topic anymore.

I've never played starlancer, but most of you seem to play it. Is it even close to as good as Freelancer because I've heard it sucks from a lot of people.

I've been in #fl since fl went gold beginning Feb last year and postin here since June last year I think, but I was away for about 6 months
