Three days from now...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Three days from now...

Three days from now, at 6:35PM (GMT), everyone devour a digestive biscuit and tell me if it tasted better or worse because you were told to do so.

Believe it or not, there is actually a good reason for me putting this seemingly moronic thread up here.

Impossible is impossible

Post Wed Oct 13, 2004 10:38 am

and the reason is for you to increase your post count.

Post Wed Oct 13, 2004 10:58 am

okay look if someone was tht desperate to increase there post count they could do it in easier way

Garibaldis

mmm...Garibaldis...

Anyway, better or worse than what? Have you accounted for the possibility of it being an unusually good/bad biscuit? And we'd have to eat another to check whether it was better or worse, by which time our taste buds will have become accustomed to the taste and will give us a slightly altered perception of it.

I love picking holes.

i dont have any in the house, i'll sit this element of science out thanks. If you said tuck into a chese sandwich i might be able to help you out.

Post Wed Oct 13, 2004 11:44 am

It wasn't to increase my post count actually, i just wanted to see what kind of reaction i'd get, or if anyone would actually take time out of their lives to do this. And it can only be a digestive. For those that are digestive-less, 3 days is more then enough time to hunt one down.

Impossible is impossible

I just checked, and my digestives have taken on the approximate consistency of rubber, I'll have to hunt some more down.

My local cheese shop is fresh out of Hob Nobs except for the dark and milk chocolate ones.

If I buy some, I eat them, same day. So, I've got none and won't have any at the designated hour. May I mail in my results early?

Post Wed Oct 13, 2004 6:18 pm

Man, the lock is gonna come so fast on this one....

Post Thu Oct 14, 2004 2:29 am

ok I'm gonna buy some digestives today, but I'm afraid they will be milk chocolate and not plain - I have standards to keep ya know

Do we have an official time and date set for this mass digestive fest?

PS. I love the fact that DSQ and ff moan/flame constantly about people increasing their post count by posting needlessly - when in fact by avoiding the thread subject and moaning constantly they are doing just that themselves.

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL THREAD - PLEASE DON'T LOCK IT! We need a little originality around here.

i said myself i dont think this is intended to increase post count i was defending the thread, read the message , jeehbus.

Ok, I still don't get it. Why the hell do we need to eat digestive biscuits? What purpose would it serve?

I think I have some dried prunes around here somewhere...
